The short answer

Restylane® is a family of hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers made by Galderma. Each formula has a different firmness and flexibility, so the product can be matched to the area: Kysse for lips, Lyft or Contour for cheeks, Eyelight for under-eye hollows, and Refyne or Defyne for smile lines and chin. At Ageless by Reva in Las Vegas, a Restylane appointment takes about 30–60 minutes, results are visible right away, and they typically last about 6 to 18 months depending on the product and the area treated.

Overview

What is Restylane®?

Hyaluronic acid is a sugar molecule your skin already makes to hold moisture. With age, sun and the dry Nevada climate, we lose it — along with the volume that keeps lips defined, cheeks lifted and under-eyes smooth. Restylane® replaces that volume with a stabilized, biocompatible form of HA that integrates with your tissue.

What makes Restylane different is choice. Galderma engineered the range with two technologies — NASHA® for firmer lift and precise shape, and OBT™ / XpresHAN™ for flexible, natural movement. Having the whole family available means Reva can use a structured gel to support a cheekbone and a soft, flexible gel for lips in the same visit, instead of forcing one product to do every job.

What Restylane can help with

  • Thin or uneven lips
  • Vertical lip lines
  • Flat or deflated cheeks
  • Under-eye hollows
  • Laugh lines & marionette lines
  • Weak chin profile
  • Volume loss in the hands

Products

The Restylane® family — and what each one is for

We carry the full range so your plan is built around your face, not around one syringe. Your provider will recommend the right formula after an in-person assessment.

Lips

Restylane® Kysse

Flexible gel for lip fullness, definition of the lip border and softening vertical lip lines, with natural movement when you talk and smile.

Lips & fine lines

Restylane® Silk

A smooth, fine-particle gel for subtle lip enhancement and the fine “smoker’s lines” around the mouth.

Cheeks · hands

Restylane® Lyft

A firmer gel for lifting the cheeks and midface, correcting deeper folds and restoring volume to the backs of the hands.

Cheeks & midface

Restylane® Contour

Designed for cheek contour with flexibility, so added volume moves naturally with your expressions.

Under-eyes

Restylane® Eyelight

Made specifically for under-eye hollows, to soften the shadowed, tired look in the tear trough area.

Smile lines

Restylane® Refyne

Soft, flexible correction for moderate laugh lines (nasolabial folds) and marionette lines.

Deep folds · chin

Restylane® Defyne

More support for deeper folds and marionette lines, and for adding projection to improve chin profile.

Lips & folds

Restylane® / Restylane-L®

The original NASHA® formula — Restylane-L® adds lidocaine for comfort — for lips and moderate-to-severe wrinkles and folds.

How Restylane treatment works

  1. Consultation & facial mapping

Reva reviews your goals and medical history, then assesses facial structure, symmetry and skin quality to decide where volume will help — and where it won’t.

  2. Choosing the formula

Each area gets the Restylane® product suited to it: soft and flexible for lips, structured for cheekbones and chin.

  3. Comfort first

Topical numbing is applied as needed, and most Restylane® formulas contain lidocaine to keep treatment comfortable.

  4. Precise placement

Filler is placed in small, deliberate amounts with a fine needle or blunt cannula, checking balance as we go.

  5. Two-week review

Once any swelling settles, we check your result and make small refinements if needed.

Results timeline

What to expect after Restylane

  1. Right away

Visible volume and definition the moment you sit up.

  2. Days 1–3

Mild swelling or bruising is common, especially in the lips.

  3. ~2 weeks

Gel settles and integrates; this is your true result.

  4. 6–18 months

Gradual, natural breakdown. Most clients schedule a touch-up before it fully fades.

Is Restylane right for you?

  • Adults who want subtle, natural volume rather than a “done” look
  • Anyone noticing thinning lips, flatter cheeks or under-eye hollows
  • People who want a reversible option for their first filler
  • Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with active skin infection in the area

Restylane aftercare

  • Skip strenuous workouts, saunas and hot yoga for 24–48 hours
  • Avoid alcohol for 24 hours to limit swelling and bruising
  • Use a cool compress for swelling; avoid pressing or massaging unless instructed
  • Sleep with your head slightly elevated the first night
  • Wait about two weeks before judging the final result

FAQ

Restylane FAQs

Ask Reva · (702) 382-6844

How long does Restylane last?

Most Restylane® results last about 6 to 18 months. Firmer products in low-movement areas, like cheeks and under-eyes, tend to last longer; lips usually last closer to 6–12 months because they move constantly. Metabolism and lifestyle also play a role.

Which Restylane is best for lips?

Restylane® Kysse is the most common choice for lips because it is flexible and natural in movement. Restylane® Silk works well for very subtle enhancement and fine lines around the mouth. The right choice depends on your lip shape and how much change you want.

Does Restylane hurt?

Most clients describe it as pressure and a brief pinch. We use topical numbing as needed, and most Restylane® formulas include lidocaine, a local anesthetic, which makes the treatment more comfortable as it goes.

Is there downtime after Restylane?

Most people return to normal activities the same day. Expect possible swelling, tenderness or bruising for a few days — lips tend to swell the most. Avoid heavy exercise and alcohol for about 24 hours.

Can Restylane be reversed?

Yes. Because Restylane® is hyaluronic acid, it can be dissolved with an enzyme called hyaluronidase if an adjustment is ever needed. This is one reason HA fillers are a popular first choice.

How much does Restylane cost in Las Vegas?

Cost depends on the product and how many syringes your plan needs. You’ll receive a clear, personalized quote at your consultation before any treatment — ask about current offers when you book.

Can I combine Restylane with Sculptra or Dysport?

Often, yes. Dysport® softens expression lines, Restylane® adds precise volume, and Sculptra® rebuilds collagen over time. Many clients use them together as part of a staged plan.
